WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN HIMOIC?
HIMOIC is open to high school students aged 15 and above who are interested in diplomacy, international cooperation, and the Islamic world. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or a responsible adult from their school delegation to ensure their safety and proper supervision during the summit. All delegates must be enrolled in high school.
IS THERE A PARTICIPATION FEE FOR HIMOIC?
No, participation in HIMOIC is completely free. The summit covers conference materials, hotel accommodation, and meals for participants. Delegates are responsible for any additional personal expenses, travel, and visa arrangements.
WILL I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE?
Yes, all participants who actively attend HIMOIC sessions and events will receive an official Certificate of Participation. Special awards may also be given to outstanding delegates based on academic performance, collaboration, and leadership during the summit.
WHAT DOES HIMOIC PROVIDE?
HIMOIC provides:
– Access to all summit sessions, committee meetings, and social activities
– Accommodation and meals for the duration of the summit
– Guidance and support from the organizing committee
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, visa, and any other personal expenses.
CAN I CHANGE MY REGISTRATION OR CANCEL?
HIMOIC registration is binding once confirmed. Since participation is free, cancellations are not penalized, but delegates are requested to notify the organizing committee as early as possible if they are unable to attend to allow space for other participants.
WHAT ARE THE ACCOMMODATION ARRANGEMENTS?
Delegates will stay in hotel accommodations provided by HIMOIC. Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included. Delegates must respect hotel rules and check-in/check-out times. Any additional services or personal expenses are the responsibility of the delegate.
WHAT IS THE CODE OF CONDUCT?
Delegates are expected to behave respectfully, follow the instructions of the organizing committee, and adhere to the laws and Islamic values. Alcohol, drugs, aggressive behavior, and harassment are strictly prohibited. Delegates failing to follow the rules may be removed from the summit without notice.
